Qatar- Economy Minister meets Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' counterpart

Minister of Economy and Commerce H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani met with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Minister of Economic Planning and Sustainable Development, Camillo Gonsalves, and his accompanying delegation.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce welcomed Gonsalves and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a good stay in Qatar. He pointed out the importance of promoting and developing economic relations between the two countries and increasing the volume of trade exchange to serve the interests of both countries.
The Minister called for the encouragement of businessmen in both countries, enabling them to play a bigger role and enter into successful strategic and investment partnerships that would push forward bilateral relations in this aspect forward and with rapid steps.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce explained that the positive growth rates of the Qatari economy have continued as a result of the state's efforts to develop exports and non-oil sources of income, and to create an attractive investment environment supported by advanced legislation and laws that allow foreign investors to participate in all economic activities in Qatar.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed aspects of joint cooperation, particularly in the economic, trade and investment fields, and means of developing them.
