Crown rejects the accusations of misconduct


(MENAFN) Crown Resorts has rejected allegations listed in federal parliament that the casino operator messed with poker machines on purpose to increase losses for gambles.

As its shares fell significantly after independent MP Andrew Wilkie, taped video evidence from previous Crown staff, accusing the company of misbehavior at its Melbourne casino.

The accusations also included claims of attempts to skip inspection of large transactions by financial regulator AUSTRAC.

Marlene Kairouz, Victorian Gaming Minister will be meeting the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation to discuss the claims.
