6 fishermen missing due to capsize
(MENAFN) After their trawler flipped over and sank off the east coast of Australia, the 6 fishermen went missing.
According to authorities, a seventh fisherman was able to survive by clinging to the boat until a passing boat spotted him, after being in the water for nearly 12 hours close to Queensland town of Seventeen Seventy.
Search teams have found wreckage, but until now, there's no sign of the missing fishermen.
A Queensland police said: "It was only through sheer luck that a passing couple on a yacht managed to hear the screams of the individual that was rescued."
