Racing: Qatari Driver Extends Lead in Abu Dhabi Challenge
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar's Nasser Al Attiyah extended Monday his lead in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge on Monday, the second round of the FIA Country Cross.
Al Attiyah, with co-driver Mathieu Baumel in a new Toyota Hilux, won the 279-kilometre Nissan Patrol Stage on Day 2 to increase his overnight advantage to 10:21 minutes ahead of Saudi Arabia's Yazeed Al Rajhi. Russian Driver Vladimir Vasilyev came in third place.
