Saudia wins top honors among carriers operating in Dubai

(MENAFN- Arab News) The saudi arabian airlines (saudia) has won the gold medal and first position among the airlines operating at the dubai international airport.

the saudi national carrier has been honored for punctual flight operations and also for achieving the highest level of operational movement among airlines at the airport in addition to winning the monthly najm certification awarded by the abu dhabi airports administration for its efforts to push up the standard of operation of services the saudi press agency reported on friday.

abdul karim al-rabeean director general of saudia in the eastern central and the gulf regions stated that it is with the dedicated service of the saudi airlines staff in its uae sector that the company could win the medal for a second time. the airline carried 600000 passengers from dubai last year competing with 120 arab and other airlines.

the airline also won the "tamayyuz" prize for punctuality instituted by the cultural attache of saudi arabia in the uae.
