(MENAFN- Arab News) Head of the evening shift at Farwaniya Labor Department of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Humaid Al-Shimmari says he has discovered a number of false transactions, which he has referred to the administration director for taking necessary action, reports Al-Rai daily. He revealed that false transactions were observed in the list of salaries and some drivers' licenses
Meanwhile, Al-Shimmari said the administration implements nearly 250 transactions related to renewal of work permits on a daily basis during the evening shift. He added that they also carry out about 40 transactions related to work permit transfers every day
Meanwhile, number of employees of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor have raised objections over the recent appointment of a number of assistant undersecretaries in the ministry, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting informed sources
They revealed that some directors will lodge an official complaint with the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh on Sunday, asking her to suspend the appointments. In case the minister rejects to cooperate, the directors will approach the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. Sources stressed that many of the officers who are against the appointments are among those who deserve promotions especially since they have been working in the ministry since year 2000
They consider themselves more eligible to be promoted to these positions than the new candidates who have neither occupied top positions in the past nor worked for at least ten years in the ministry
