Barcelona Sign Croatian Teenager Halilovic

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Barcelona have signed 17-year-old Croatian midfielder Alen Halilovic from Dynamo Zagreb, according to Spanish media reports Friday. Barca have paid about 8 million euros (10.9 million dollars) for the left-footed youngster, the reports say.
Halilovic is the youngest-ever goalscorer in the Croatian first division and also the youngest-ever debutant for the Croatian national team,dpa reported. Halilovic, who has already been capped three times by Croatia, will play for Barca's second division B team next season. He is the second youngster to be signed by Barca for next season, along with goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen from Borussia Moenchengladbach. Midfielder Rafinha and winger Gerard Deulofeu will return to Barca after loan spells at Celta Vigo and Everton, respectively
