Kuwait- Egyptian attempts to smuggle in drugs


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Egyptian expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle 300 narcotic pills into the country, reports Al-Seyassah daily.



According to security sources, a customs officer suspected the expatriate who had arrived from Egypt on a work visa. When they checked him, they found 300 narcotic pills.



The suspect insisted that he had no idea where the drugs came from and how it was in his luggage. He was arrested and referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for further investigations
