I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology at McGill University and went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in the Women's Reproductive Mood Disorders Postdoctoral Training Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a CIHR Canada Research Chair of Reproductive Mental Health and director of the Reproductive Mental Health Research Unit, my research aims to facilitate the prediction, prevention, and treatment of depression across the female lifespan. A main area of focus over the last 15 years has been mental health in the context of the menopause transition.
