Currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on Drought Ecology, Macroinvertebrate Communities, and Water Quality, my work integrates ecological monitoring, participatory mapping, and community engagement to explore the impacts of climate variability on freshwater biodiversity and ecosystem services.
I hold an MSc in Water Resource Science from Rhodes University, where I developed a strong foundation in catchment management, environmental monitoring, and applied research. As a first-generation international student from Nigeria, my academic journey has been shaped by resilience, curiosity, and a deep sense of purpose.
My academic prowess in water resources science is complemented by a solid foundation in computer systems networking, providing versatility in environmental awareness and online research. With a commitment to environmental advocacy, I'm poised to make significant contributions to the dialogue on ecosystem services and community welfare after graduation.
