ASE Index Rises 0.91%, Turnover Totals JD13.4 Million
Amman, Nov. 4 (Petra) -- Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD13.4 million Wednesday, with 5.5 million shares traded through 4,037 transactions.
The general share price index rose 0.91 percent to 4,074 points.
Of the 103 companies traded, 42 posted higher share prices than their previous closes, while 22 posted lower prices.
By sector, the industrial index climbed 2.10 percent. The services index rose 0.80 percent, and the financial index rose 0.51 percent.
