Cabinet Approves 29 Public Holidays For 2027

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: The cabinet has approved a list of 29 public holidays for 2027, comprising 15 general holidays and 14 holidays declared by executive order.

Seven of these holidays fall on Fridays and Saturdays. As a result, government employees will get a total of 22 days off.

The decision was made at a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Secretariat on the evening of November 2.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani announced the decision at a press briefing at the Secretariat after the meeting.
