Türkiye Expands Healthcare Partnership with North Macedonia
(MENAFN) Türkiye and North Macedonia have signed a new memorandum of understanding covering healthcare and medical sciences, aiming to broaden bilateral cooperation across several medical fields, Turkish Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu announced Saturday.
In a statement published on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, Memisoglu highlighted Ankara's ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and expand collaboration within the healthcare sector.
The agreement was signed during a meeting between Memisoglu and his North Macedonian counterpart, Sasho Klekovski, held on the sidelines of the Turkic Medical World Congress.
"We aim to develop our joint efforts in many areas, particularly public health, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, healthcare investments and the digitalization of health services," Memisoglu said.
He expressed optimism that the newly established framework would create further opportunities for cooperation between the two countries and strengthen their healthcare relations.
"I sincerely believe that our cooperation in healthcare will be further strengthened in the coming period, and I hope the agreement we have signed will bring positive outcomes for our countries," he added.
