Street Dog's Fake Injury Act To Escape Pack Goes Viral, Internet Can't Stop Laughing (WATCH VIDEO)
A street dog has become an unusual online star after employing a cunning tactic to avoid a potentially deadly scenario with a bunch of other canines. The dog instead of facing the creatures or trying to escape suddenly fell down on the floor and lay still, perhaps pretending to be hurt or dead. The other dogs stared at the peculiar behavior, perplexed. The video clip shows numerous dogs gathering around the immobile dog, sniffing and looking at him as if trying to figure out what happened.
But the big surprise came a few seconds later. The other dogs slowly lost interest and started to drift away. The cunning street dog saw his chance, scrambled to his feet and ran away.
Social media fans were amused by what should have been a conflict, but instead turned out to be a humorous show of unexpected canine behavior. The video captures the street dog lying motionless while the surrounding dogs gather around it. Rather than reacting aggressively, the canine appears to maintain its act, staying still as the others inspect it.

Social Media Can't Stop Smiling
The footage has been drawing attention for its surprise escape plan. The dog has been dubbed a natural talent by viewers, with some thinking the pup deserved an Oscar for its performance. Social media users are posting amusing responses to the dog's spectacular performance. Some applauded its obvious street-smart skills, while others suggested it should get a prize for convincing the other dogs.
The footage shows the dog performing what looks like a flawlessly planned strategy, but it's impossible to tell from the video alone what the real plan is. Animals can also respond differently to dangers, for example by freezing, avoiding confrontation or trying to escape. Regardless of the reason behind the dog's strange reaction, the event has delighted viewers and generated discussions on the remarkable ways animals react to stressful situations.
