Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) -- The Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) announced Thursday that a new 94-kilometer bus route connecting Irbid and Amman's South Bus Terminal will begin operating Saturday, with a fare of JD2.25 per trip.

The route, part of the regular public transport project, aims to improve public transportation services and facilitate travel between the two cities.

Buses will depart from the New Amman Bus Terminal in Irbid, traveling along Jordan Street and Independence Street before passing through Al-Muhajireen and Ras Al-Ain to reach the South Bus Terminal in Amman.

The service will operate on fixed, regular schedules throughout the week to meet passenger demand.

Buses serving the route will be equipped with electronic payment systems, free Wi-Fi, and onboard surveillance cameras to provide passengers with a safer and more comfortable travel experience.
