Hayleys Solar Introduces Sri Lanka's Largest 24/7 Renewable Energy Operations Centre (ROC)
Designed and supported by Fentons Information Technology, the centre combines information from different inverter brands and projects into one dashboard.
Hayleys said the platform provides visibility over electricity generation, inverter performance, device connectivity, weather conditions and overall plant performance.
It is intended to support residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale renewable energy operations, including solar, wind and battery storage.
An alarm-management system highlights problems such as low generation, power outages, inverter faults and communication failures.
On-screen alerts allow operational teams to identify affected sites and prioritise their response.
The company also plans automated text-message notifications to engineers responsible for particular locations.
Where a site visit is required, an available engineer can be assigned to investigate and address the problem.
The reporting functions include daily, monthly and annual generation information, comparisons between expected and actual performance, and analysis across multiple plants.
Hayleys Fentons Managing Director Hasith Prematillake said the centre combined the group's energy and information-technology capabilities.
Deputy Managing Director for Energy Roshane Perera said continuous monitoring was intended to help identify faults earlier and reduce downtime.
FIT General Manager Yoosoof Ihthisham said the platform integrated automated alerts, analytics and reporting to turn operational information into usable findings.
