Selection Announced For A Member Of The Management Board Of“Ignitis Grupė” Responsible For Energy Markets And Commerce

(MENAFN- GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) AB“Ignitis grupė” (hereinafter – the Group) informs that a selection has been announced for a member of the Group's Management Board responsible for the competence area of Energy Markets and Commerce. This area is currently overseen by Management Board member Vytenis Koryzna, who is expected to assume the positions of the Group's CEO and Chair of the Management Board on 1 March 2027. The Group's Supervisory Board plans to make the final decision on his appointment soon. The selected Management Board member will take over the competence area currently overseen by V. Koryzna.

V. Koryzna will take over as the Group's CEO and Chair of the Management Board following the expiry of Darius Maikštėnas's second term of office on 28 February 2027. The selection aims to ensure a full five-member Management Board and continuity in the oversight of Energy Markets and Commercial Activities. On 24 September 2026, the Group announced that V. Koryzna had been approved as the final candidate for the positions of Chair of the Management Board and CEO of the Group.

The selection is conducted publicly in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws and the corporate governance standards applicable to the Group. Candidates will be assessed against predefined criteria for professional experience and competencies, as well as the requirements for an impeccable reputation.

We remind you that the current Management Board of the Group consists of five members:

• Darius Maikštėnas – Chair of the Management Board and CEO of the Group (Strategy and Management). He will hold these positions until the expiry of his second term of office as CEO of the Group on 28 February 2027;
• Jonas Rimavičius – member of the Management Board and CFO of the Group (Finance);
• Dr Živilė Skibarkienė – member of the Management Board and Chief Organisational Development Officer of the Group (People and Business Support);
• Vytenis Koryzna – member of the Management Board and Chief Commercial Officer of the Group (Energy Markets and Commerce);
• Mantas Mikalajūnas – member of the Management Board and Chief Regulatory Officer of the Group (Regulated Business and Government Relations).
