Investment And Trade Court Highlights Its Role In Achieving Prompt Justice
The Investment and Trade Court participated in a workshop examining its role in buttressing the investment and commercial climate and achieving prompt justice.
Organised by Qatar University (QU)'s Career Development Center in collaboration with the College of Law, the workshop drilled down on the impact of judicial specialisation on improving the quality of judgments and expediting the resolution of disputes.
It also addressed the course of a case before the court and the role of the case management office in preparing cases for adjudication.
The workshop further highlighted the impact of digital transformation and electronic services on developing litigation procedures and fostering the efficiency of judicial operations, underscoring the substantial role of technology in advancing judicial services.
The event drew several judges and legal researchers from the court, alongside teaching staff and QU law students, as part of efforts to shore up ongoing collaboration between the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) and academic institutions and bring theory and practice closer together.
