Dojo Appoints VCCP Roar As Social Agency Of Record

Date:

(MENAFN- PRovoke) LONDON - Payments platform Dojo has appointed VCCP Roar as its social media agency of record following a competitive pitch.

The agency will develop social campaigns and channel content designed to bring out Dojo's brand personality, drawing on customer stories and cultural moments to connect with business audiences.

The account will be led by Joanna Jones, associate director in VCCP Roar's marketing practice, which provides content marketing, social and influencer services to technology, financial services and consumer brands.

VCCP Roar will work alongside sister agency VCCP Media, which has been appointed as Dojo's media agency of record in the UK and Ireland.

Dojo provides payment technology to businesses ranging from small firms to large enterprises, with services spanning remote payments, cashflow and business management. The company says it processes more than £43 billion annually for around 110,000 UK merchants.

Lorna Hughes, founder and managing partner of VCCP Roar, said:“Our work at VCCP Roar puts audiences at the heart of things – whether that's a consumer, CIO or CEO, we bring a cultural focus to our clients, in Dojo's case tapping into the zeitgeist to speak to its SME audience as humans. Too often, B2B brands fall into the trap of forgetting their buyers and users are normal people – Dojo embraces that and we're so excited to be working together.”

Jordan Deane, brand content lead at Dojo, added:“We loved the team's approach – the social strategy spoke to our audience perfectly, and mapped so well to what we're trying to do as a business. And that fed some awesome creative concepts and ideas that we're now seeing coming to life on our channels. The energy was infectious and it's one of the reasons we knew VCCP Roar was the right team for us.”

VCCP Roar was formed in November 2025 through the merger of consumer and corporate agency Good Relations, technology specialist Harvard, and financial services PR and marketing firm Teamspirit. The merger retired the three individual agency brands in the UK, creating a business with around 150 people and combined revenue of approximately £22 million at launch.

The agency is led by chief executive Stephanie Brimacombe alongside five founding partners, including former Harvard managing director Hughes. Its offer brings together PR, social, influencer marketing, creative and strategy, supported by the wider VCCP network.

Dojo joins a client portfolio that includes Salesforce, Western Digital and Worcester Bosch. VCCP Roar also won Starbucks' UK consumer communications account in August.
