Arab League Highlights Regional Integration To Empower Pwds At Dubai Expo
Cairo, Oct. 20 (Petra) -- The League of Arab States emphasized the importance of integrating efforts across governments, regional and international institutions, and the private sector to translate policies and commitments into practical, sustainable initiatives that bolster economic and social empowerment for persons with disabilities while expanding their workforce participation and integration into development sectors.
The statement coincided with the Arab League's participation in the AccessAbilities Expo, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 19 to 21.
The League noted that its participation aligns with broader efforts to support the implementation of the Second Arab Decade for Persons with Disabilities (2023–2032), promote disability rights, and uphold principles of equal opportunity and social inclusion across the region.
