Russian Airstrikes Kill Three, Injure Eleven Across Ukraine

Date:

(MENAFN) Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Kyiv and Kharkiv regions killed three people and wounded 11 others on Tuesday, according to Ukrainian emergency authorities.

In the Kyiv region, Russian forces hit a production and storage facility in the Obukhiv district, killing three people and injuring six, officials said.

The strike sparked a fire at the site, which emergency crews later brought under control. Rescue teams continued working to remove debris from the damaged building.

In the northeastern Kharkiv region, a Russian drone attack on the city of Izium left five people injured, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Separately, Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces targeted Ukrainian logistics and port facilities, along with cargo vessels allegedly transporting military equipment and goods with both civilian and military applications for Ukraine’s armed forces.

The ministry reported strikes on a logistics hub in Khmelnytskyi, a transport and logistics facility in Kovel in the Volyn region, and three cargo ships unloading supplies at the port of Reni in the Odesa region.

It also claimed that Russian forces hit a cargo vessel carrying military supplies to Ukraine as it was heading toward the port of Odesa.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 136 Ukrainian drones overnight across 15 regions of Russia.
