Russian Forces Shell 12 Settlements In Kharkiv Region In 24 Hours, Leaving Six Dead, 21 Injured

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this in a Facebook post.

In the settlement of Nova Vodolaha, six people were killed, including girls aged 1 and 11. Another 15 people were injured, including seven children.

In the city of Izium, five people suffered acute stress reactions.

In Chuhuiv, a 59-year-old woman was injured.

A 65-year-old woman was also killed in shelling in the settlement of Borova on October 18, while men aged 61 and 60 were injured. On October 17, a 53-year-old woman was injured in the village of Starovirivka, part of the Shevchenkove territorial community.

Russian forces launched four missiles, five Geran-2 UAVs, one Molniya UAV, one FPV drone, and 89 drones whose type has yet to be identified to attack Kharkiv region. In Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, power lines and a car were damaged.

In the village of Hnylytsia, Kupiansk district, a private house was damaged.

In Izium district, a private house was damaged in the village of Oskil. In the city of Izium, four private houses, an administrative building, an outbuilding, and a car were damaged.

In Kharkiv district, a food service establishment, a car, an apartment building, and private houses were damaged in Nova Vodolaha. A warehouse building was damaged in the village of Lisne.

In Lozova district, a warehouse building, two trucks, and a private house were damaged in Zlatopil. In Lozova, a private house, an educational institution, and four cars were damaged.

In Chuhuiv, a civilian facility and two apartment buildings were damaged.

In Berestyn, railway infrastructure, five private houses, a car, and power lines were damaged.

Over the past 24 hours, the transit evacuation center in Lozova received 144 people. Since it began operating, a total of 65,494 people have registered there.

As Ukrinform previously reported, October 20 was declared a day of mourning in the Nova Vodolaha territorial community of Kharkiv region for those killed in a Russian strike.
