Trump Attacks Fox News Over Coverage of Democratic Opponents
(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump criticized Fox News on Monday, accusing the television network of giving Democratic figures disproportionate attention and allowing them to promote their positions at the expense of Republican candidates.
"Fox spends more time defending Dumocrats, and putting on their views versus their Republican opponent, than at any time in the history of Fox News," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
He described the channel's approach as "ridiculous," claiming it was "trying too hard to be politically correct."
Trump also encouraged his supporters to avoid Fox News and instead follow his rally in Kansas through the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN).
The latest criticism reflects Trump's recurring complaints about the network's editorial decisions. He has previously accused Fox News of providing excessive coverage to candidates who do not belong to the Republican Party.
Although the broadcaster has traditionally been associated with conservative perspectives and has often supported Trump's political agenda, it has periodically faced public criticism from the president. His latest remarks also come against the backdrop of his broader confrontational relationship with major media organizations.
