Ukrainian Air Defenses Down 418 Out Of 463 Russian Attack Drones In 24 Hours
“On October 18, the enemy used 463 attack UAVs of various types: Shahed-131/136/238, Parodiya, Gerbera, Banderol/Dan-T and Italmas. Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 418 of them. The interception rate was 90.28%,” the statement said.
The General Staff noted that“behind these figures is the daily, demanding work of our defenders. However, even such a high rate does not guarantee complete safety. Every drone that is not neutralized remains a threat to people.”
“Therefore, we urge everyone not to ignore air raid alerts and not to share information about air defense operations on social media,” the agency said.
At the same time, the General Staff assured that Ukraine's Defense Forces are continuing to strengthen air defenses, improve methods for detecting and destroying enemy targets, and expand capabilities to counter new threats, including jet-powered attack UAVs.
