Brazilian PR Tech Company Mention Expands Into US

MILWAUKEE - Brazilian PR technology company Mention has expanded into the US, establishing a base in Milwaukee as it looks to bring its AI-powered services to American businesses and PR agencies.
Founded in 2022, Mention has joined the fall 2026 cohort of gBETA Milwaukee, a startup accelerator operated by gener8tor. CEO and co-founder Beatriz Ambrosio and CTO Leonardo Vieira are currently in Milwaukee for the seven-week program as the company builds its US operations.
Mention says it has served more than 1,000 companies in Brazil since its founding and currently has 200 active clients across sectors including healthcare technology, financial technology, retail and the public sector. The company reported revenue exceeding $460,000 in 2026.
At the center of Mention's business is SIPP, an AI-powered platform designed to help companies and PR agencies assess the likelihood of media coverage before pitching journalists. The technology evaluates story angles against a database of more than 6,000 media outlets and generates a score estimating the likelihood of publication in less than five minutes.
Mention claims the technology predicts publication with 95% accuracy, although that figure has not been independently verified. The company offers the platform on a self-service basis as well as through PR specialists who develop and execute media strategies using the same data.
Mention is also seeking to raise $3 million in pre-seed funding to expand its database of US media outlets and build an American sales team. The company aims to serve 3,000 US businesses by the end of 2027.
