Qatar To Announce Local Defence Production Hub Soon, Deputy PM Says
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar is preparing to establish a domestic defence production hub in Doha, with an official announcement expected soon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said during the Global Security Forum (GSF) 2026, the International Media Office reported on its official social media account said Qatar is working with a regional partner, alongside the United States, the United Kingdom and France, to develop local defence production capabilities, explore investments in defence companies and establish a dedicated defence hub in the country.
