Georgia CORE And Carebox Partner To Help Georgians Explore Oncology Clinical Trials
This collaboration gives patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals across Georgia an easy way to find and pre-qualify for relevant oncology clinical trials. By answering a short questionnaire, people can see a listing of trials that may fit their diagnosis and bring those options to their care team.
For many people facing cancer, clinical trials can offer access to new treatment options. Yet finding a trial that fits is often confusing and time-consuming, especially while managing treatment and daily life. For more than 20 years, Georgia CORE has worked to make quality cancer care easier to reach by bringing together researchers, providers, patient navigators, and community leaders across the state.
“Increasing access to cancer clinical trials is one of the reasons Georgia CORE was formed more than two decades ago,” said Lynn M.
