AHU President, Czech Ambassador Discuss Academic Cooperation, Erasmus+ Opportunities
Maan, Oct. 14 (Petra) -- President of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU), Atef Al-Kharabsheh, met on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Jordan, Andrea Kučerová, to discuss strengthening relations between the university and Czech higher education institutions.
During the meeting, Al-Kharabsheh provided an overview of the university, its faculties, academic programs, student body, and its role in serving the local community.
He emphasized the importance of expanding academic collaboration with Czech universities and leveraging European Union mobility programs, particularly Erasmus+, to increase exchange opportunities for faculty, administrative staff, and students.
For her part, Ambassador Kučerová expressed her appreciation for the warm reception, commending AHU's development and its contribution to higher education and community service. She voiced keen interest in fostering partnerships between AHU and Czech institutions to expand academic and scientific exchanges and build new avenues for joint expertise.
