Diwali Bonus: Good News For Railway Employees! 78-Day Bonus Worth ₹2,009 Crore Approved
The maximum bonus payable to an eligible employee is ₹17,951. The bonus covers employees across categories, including loco pilots, track maintainers, station masters, train managers and technicians.
The government said the Railways recorded cargo loading of 1,670 million tonnes and carried nearly 7.41 billion passengers in 2025-26.
