Blackpink's Rosé To Perform At LACMA Art+Film Gala
The event will honor Latvian American artist Vija Celmins, recognized for her detailed depictions of the natural world, and director Denis Villeneuve, known for his science fiction films“Dune” and“Arrival.” The gala is presented by Gucci, with actor Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow returning as co-chairs. In 2011, the inaugural Art+Film Gala focused on John Baldessari and Clint Eastwood, and it has since become a key event in Los Angeles's art calendar.
“The LACMA Art+Film Gala celebrates creative icons and the connections between all forms of creativity, all around the world,” said Chow.“As a global pop superstar, Rosé will amplify the spirit of the evening with her incomparable talent and style.”
The 2025 gala generated $6.5 million, a slight increase from the $6.4 million raised the previous year. Rosé has previously attended the Art+Film Gala in both 2022 and 2023. Other notable musical guests have included Doja Cat in 2025, Annie Lennox in 2017, and Charli XCX, who surprised attendees with Troye Sivan in 2024. Beyond her success with Blackpink, Rosé's debut solo album,“rosie,” has accumulated over 10 billion streams, boosted by the hit collaboration“APT” with Bruno Mars, which earned her three Grammy nominations. Tickets for the gala start at $10,000.
