FM Sybiha Discusses Increasing Pressure On Russia With German FM
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informed Johann Wadephul about the Russian strike on the Kharkiv Thermal Power Plant No. 5, which took place a few hours ago.
“Russia violated the energy ceasefire immediately after it was announced,” Sybiha emphasized.
He confirmed Ukraine's readiness for a full energy ceasefire, provided that Russia stops attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
“Russian terror must be met with strength, unity, and decisiveness: additional military aid packages for Ukraine, the opening of EU accession clusters, and full use of frozen Russian assets,” Sybiha stated.
During his conversation with Wadephul, the minister also thanked Germany for its leadership in supporting Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated that Germany must continue to stand firmly on the side of Ukraine, its government, and President Volodymyr Zelensky, and that pressure on Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin must be intensified, not eased.
