Vladyslav Havrylov is a Ukrainian historian and religious scholar based in Kyiv. His research interests include the history of mass deportations in the Soviet era, state-confessional relations, the policy of the Catholic Church during World War II, and the role of Christian clergy in the Holocaust.

From October 2025, Havrylov has worked as a research consultant at King's College London's Leverhulme Centre for Research on Slavery in War, producing publications on war crimes and the Russia-Ukraine war and preparing analytical reports.

Havrylov is also an analyst at the Media Initiative for Human Rights, where he focuses on reporting on crimes committed against prisoners of war and civilian detainees on the Russian Federation's territory. And he is an invited expert with the Charity Foundation "East-SOS," where from September 2024 to September 2025, he worked on investigations about Russian war crimes against Ukrainian children in the aftermath of the full-scale Russian invasion. He further serves as an adviser to the child deportation investigative task force at Osint for Ukraine.

Havrylov is a 2026 global fellow with the Collaborative on Global Children's Issues at Georgetown University in the US, where he was previously a 2024-2025 collaborative fellow and a 2023-2024 research fellow. His work has focused on the forcible transfer, deportation, adoption, and reeducation of Ukrainian children by Russia.
