(MENAFN) Israeli forces and Israeli settlers carried out 62,916 attacks against Palestinians, their land and property across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel, according to a Palestinian commission.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said Israeli forces were responsible for 48,174 of the reported incidents, while Israeli settlers carried out another 14,742.

Hebron recorded the largest number with 10,840 attacks, followed by Ramallah and Al-Bireh with 10,594 and Nablus with 10,261.

The commission said attacks by Israeli settlers during the period resulted in the deaths of 66 Palestinians.

It also recorded 1,182 fires that targeted Palestinian land and property, while 147,111 trees were uprooted or damaged, including more than 100,000 olive trees.

According to the report, Israeli settlers also sought to establish 211 new pastoral outposts, with attacks affecting 376 Palestinian villages and communities.

The commission said Israeli authorities conducted 1,814 demolition operations that affected 5,059 structures, including 1,894 homes that were inhabited.

Around 64,200 dunams (15,864 acres) of Palestinian land were confiscated through military orders and declarations designating territory as “state land.” The commission described the pace of land confiscation as the highest recorded in three decades.
