Nvidia Expands Share Repurchase Program
(MENAFN) Nvidia’s board of directors has approved an additional $150 billion for the company’s existing share buyback program, bringing the remaining authorization to $235 billion.
The company expects to complete the remaining repurchase program by fiscal year 2028, according to a statement issued Monday.
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said the company’s growth is being fueled by the shift toward artificial intelligence and accelerated computing.
Huang said Nvidia’s strong cash generation allows it to continue investing in technologies supporting this transformation while also returning capital to shareholders.
He added that the expanded authorization reflects the company’s confidence in the long-term opportunities ahead.
