ILLIYEEN Introduces Climate-Focused Cottocool Fabric For Bangladesh
The fabric is made from natural long-staple cotton and uses a specialized processing method that the company says improves breathability without sacrificing the structured appearance expected from formal clothing.
According to ILLIYEEN, the fabric's construction creates microscopic pathways that allow greater airflow through the material. The resulting texture is designed to feel softer while maintaining a smooth drape.
CottoCool uses a lightweight weave ranging from 105 to 130 grams per square meter. The retailer says the relatively light construction helps heat escape more efficiently, making it better suited to Bangladesh's climate.
The development addresses a common challenge for professionals who wear formal clothing while commuting or spending long periods outdoors. Traditional business attire often relies on heavier materials influenced by fashion developed for cooler climates, which can be uncomfortable in tropical weather.
