Aysha Asif Riaz

I'm a Research Fellow at UCL, working with the NeuroWare Innovation and Knowledge Centre on the development of the UK's neuromorphic computing ecosystem. My current work focuses on emerging technology and policy, including the development of the UK Neuromorphic Computing Roadmap to 2050.
I completed my PhD in Materials Chemistry at UCL, with research focused on the synthesis and characterisation of metal oxide thin films for optoelectronic applications. I have also held research and policy roles at the University of Oxford, the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST), and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
