Razmak Elders Back New Security Measures To Improve Law And Order
A jirga was held in Razmak, North Waziristan, to discuss the law and order situation in the area. The participants decided to immediately ban the display of weapons in Razmak Bazaar and initiate legal action against vehicles with tinted windows.
Assistant Commissioner Razmak took the local elders into confidence during the jirga and announced an immediate ban on the display of weapons in Razmak Bazaar. He also said legal action against vehicles with tinted windows would begin from tomorrow.
According to the administration, police will take legal action against violators without discrimination.

The local elders also demanded lifting the ban on development work in Razmak, establishing a Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) office, and taking immediate steps to improve the condition of the Category-D hospital.
The participants agreed to continue holding jirgas every 15 days to address law and order and public issues in the area. The assistant commissioner assured the participants of all possible cooperation from the administration in resolving public grievances.
The jirga was held outside Razmak Camp and was attended by Assistant Commissioner Razmak Tufail Muhammad, Razmak SHO Shazid Khan, Area Muharrir Sher Bahadur, Maliks, local elders and residents.
