Join the waiting Dubai, UAE – September 2026: Samsung Gulf Electronics is giving the usual coffee run a Galaxy makeover, teaming up with your neighborhood coffee brand Backyard for a limited time activation that brings coffee culture and Galaxy technology together. Until September 27, Backyard's Al Jada and Mirdif locations in Dubai will turn green for the takeover, giving visitors the chance to take part before it wraps up. Titled the Green Takeover, the activation is designed to give goers an immersive, hands-on introduction to Samsung's newest foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 in the online only exclusive Green colors, alongside a specially created menu item available only during the run. At the center of the collaboration is the Green Galaxy, a limited-edition drink created exclusively for this partnership and served in co-branded Samsung x Backyard sleeves. Anyone who orders a Green Galaxy Matcha or any menu item during the takeover will also receive an entry into a raffle draw for a chance to win a Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, with multiple purchases allowing for multiple entries. Each location will feature a dedicated Samsung activation space where visitors can go hands on with the latest Galaxy foldables and explore key features such as Galaxy AI, multitasking and content creation tools. The collaboration will also include exclusive Samsung offers via QR code, available to visitors at both locations, only Samsung. Visitors can also put their own stamp on the experience at the Creative Studio, where they can snap a photo, customize it into a sticker and have it printed on the spot, in addition to Spin to Win which adds further prizes throughout the takeover. The Green Galaxy leaves the menu when the takeover ends, so visitors curious about the green have until September 27th to find out what it is about.
