UEFA Unveils Host Cities for 2028, 2029 Club Finals
(MENAFN) UEFA confirmed the venues for its major club competition finals in 2028 and 2029 on Tuesday, with decisions finalized by the organization's Executive Committee during a meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Germany will host the 2028 Champions League final at the Munich Football Arena, before the tournament shifts to Spain a year later, with Barcelona's Camp Nou set to stage the 2029 showpiece.
On the women's side, France's OL Stadium in Lyon-Decines will hold the 2028 Women's Champions League final, followed by a move to the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff for the 2029 edition.
The Europa League final will land in Bucharest in 2028, with Romania's National Arena taking hosting duties, before the competition heads to Serbia's capital the following year, where the National Stadium Serbia in Belgrade will welcome the 2029 final.
Italy is set to host the 2028 Conference League final at Juventus Stadium in Turin, while Hungary's Puskas Arena in Budapest will close out the cycle with the 2029 final.
Beyond the primary club finals, UEFA also locked in venues for its Super Cup fixtures: Amsterdam's Johan Cruyff Arena will host the 2027 edition, with Kazakhstan's Astana Arena taking over hosting duties in 2028.
Rounding out the announcements, Switzerland's Biel/Bienne Arena was named host of the 2027 UEFA Futsal Champions League final.
