Fresh Israeli Strikes Kill Four Palestinians Despite Gaza Ceasefire
(MENAFN) Four Palestinians died and multiple others sustained injuries in a series of separate Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to medics, marking the latest in a string of violations of the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
A medical source told Anadolu that two Palestinians were killed when a double Israeli strike hit the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northwestern Gaza City, with several others — including a child — wounded in the attack.
Witnesses described an Israeli drone first striking a crowd of civilians gathered in Sheikh Radwan, then launching a second strike moments later that targeted people who had rushed in to help the wounded.
Separately, a 65-year-old man was killed by Israeli gunfire that struck a displacement camp east of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, according to another medical source.
In a third incident, one Palestinian was killed and two others injured — one critically — when an Israeli drone strike hit passersby in Sheikh Ajleen, southwest of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its emergency teams transported nine wounded individuals to its Al-Saraya Field Hospital following an Israeli strike on Al-Sinaa Street in Gaza City.
Witnesses also reported that Israeli military vehicles positioned behind the so-called "yellow line" opened heavy fire on areas east of Deir al-Balah and the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, as well as areas east of Khan Younis in the south. Additional shelling was reported off the coastlines of Gaza City and Khan Younis.
Gaza's Health Ministry reports that Israeli violations of the ceasefire since October 2025 have killed 1,372 Palestinians and wounded 4,659 others.
The ministry's broader tally puts the death toll since Oct. 8, 2023 at nearly 74,000 Palestinians killed and more than 174,000 injured, with roughly 90% of Gaza's infrastructure destroyed over the course of the war — figures that have made the conflict one of the most devastating in the region's recent history.
