Medical Oncologist Manh Dang Wins Literary Titan Gold Book Award For Christian Mission Memoir: The Mountain Beyond, The Well And The Living Water
Published in August 2026, The Mountain Beyond chronicles years of Christian mission work among the Pokot people on Mount Paka in Kenya's Great Rift Valley. The story follows missionary Teresa June Estes, a couple of churches, Water Mission, and volunteers whose efforts brought clean water, medical care, education, Christian ministry, and other forms of assistance to the remote community.
Literary Titan gave The Mountain Beyond a five-star review before honoring it with its Gold Book Award, writing, “Dang writes with openness, warmth, and a clear devotional purpose.”
