Qatar Backs Palestinian Unity
HE the prime minister stressed the importance of ending division and strengthening Palestinian unity to secure legitimate national rights, foremost among them the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The meeting with Rajoub, who is visiting Qatar, reviewed bilateral co-operation and ways to strengthen it, developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, and other issues of mutual interest.
