War Update: 219 Combat Clashes Reported Along Front Line On September 15

“Since the beginning of this day, a total of 219 combat engagements have taken place. The enemy launched 68 airstrikes, dropping 249 guided glide bombs. In addition, it used 4,153 kamikaze drones to strike targets and carried out 1,638 attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops,” the military reported.

No enemy offensive activity was recorded in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, according to the General Staff.

During the day, in the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched 15 assaults on the positions of our units near Lyman, Prilipka, Starytsia, Izybytske, and Mala Vovcha; one more combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy assaults near Kivsharivka and Tabaivka; another engagement is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders successfully repelled six attempts by the invaders to advance near Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, and Dibrova; another combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped four attempts by the invaders to advance near Ozerne, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka.

One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction near Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka and Illinivka, as well as toward Osykove, Mykolaipillia, and Novohryhorivka; four more combat engagements are ongoing.

A total of 38 attacks were repelled in the P okrovsk direction. The invaders attempted to advance near the settlements of Sofiivka, Pryiut, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Nove Shakhove, Stepy, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Bilytske, Vodianske, Krasnopodillia, Novofedorivka, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Molodetske.

According to preliminary estimates, 66 invaders were killed and five wounded there today. Ukrainian forces destroyed 12 vehicles, one artillery system, five pieces of special equipment, one UAV command post, two ammunition depots, and 46 enemy shelters. Three vehicles, three artillery systems, one piece of special equipment, eight UAV command posts, and 101 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 147 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

One enemy attack was repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Oleksandrivka direction near Verbove.

Seven enemy attacks were recorded in the Hulyaipole direction near the settlements of Hirke and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack near Zarichne.

There were no enemy assault operations in the Dnipro direction.

No significant changes in the situation were recorded in the other directions.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Third Army Corps launched an offensive in northern Donetsk region, with Biletskyi naming the villages that have come under the control of the Defense Forces.
