Estonia In Talks To Join French Nuclear Deterrence Initiative
Estonia is already under NATO's nuclear umbrella, Michal said, adding,“France is also supporting our independence by deploying troops in Estonia. So if there is an opportunity to deepen cooperation in the nuclear sphere, that is probably what will happen”.
Michal stressed that this is not an initiative that countries can simply join, as it requires certain capabilities and readiness.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Finland has decided to join the French initiative on nuclear deterrence, which is of significant importance for security in Europe.
