I am Chair of the History and Philosophy Departments, Professor of History and History Education, and I teach courses in Irish History, American History, and History Education. I earned my Ph.D. in History from the University of Missouri in 2003. My research interests focus on 19th-century Irish and Irish-American history and my publications include:
