Danielle Rhoades Ha Joins Emerson Collective After 16 Years At The New York Times

NEW YORK - Danielle Rhoades Ha has joined Emerson Collective as managing director of communications after 16 years at The New York Times.
Rhoades Ha started in the role Monday, a move first reported by Brian Stelter in CNN's Reliable Sources newsletter. She later announced the move on LinkedIn.
Rhoades Ha was most recently senior VP of communications at the Times. She was promoted in 2022 to lead external communications, overseeing corporate, newsroom and issues communications.
The Times named Katie Hill senior VP and global head of communications and external affairs in May. Hill, who previously served as senior VP of communications at the NFL, started in June.
At Emerson Collective, Rhoades Ha joins the organization founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, whose work spans areas including education, immigration, energy and the environment.
“I'm delighted to be joining Laurene Powell Jobs and an extraordinary group of colleagues across Emerson to help share the company's mission and impact with the world,” Rhoades Ha wrote on LinkedIn.
Rhoades Ha called her 16 years at the Times“rewarding and thrilling,” saying she had the opportunity to promote its independence, journalism and business.
“I'm focused on the work ahead and feel very fortunate to be going from one inspiring and kind team to another,” she wrote.
