Profile Articles

My academic and professional work focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly their application to complex problems in education and science. At the University of Cambridge, I conducted AI research into predicting students' mathematical understanding from patterns in their responses. At The University of Manchester, my research has focused on fundamental machine-learning methods for complex problems in quantum physics, including Feynman path integrals, alongside applications in oncology.

I also founded Pinpoint Learning, where I led the development of an AI-informed personalised learning platform that has been used by more than one million students across over 500 schools. My earlier experience in investment banking and as a Mathematics and Further Mathematics teacher provides a strong foundation in quantitative modelling and the practical deployment of technology.
