Ukachukwu Abaraogu
- Senior Lecturer, Public Health, Evidence Synthesis & Rehabilitation, University of the West of Scotland
I am a physiotherapist with over 19 years of experience working across the UK and low-resource settings.
My research focuses on evidence synthesis, implementation science and how rehabilitation, physical activity and behaviour change can help people live better with long-term conditions, particularly cardiovascular disease and multimorbidity. I have led and contributed to major UK-funded research projects, including work supported by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Chief Scientist Office(Scotland) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
I have published widely in international journals and works with global research networks to translate evidence into practical solutions that improve health and wellbeing.
