Ministry Orders Temporary Closure Of Food Facility, Restaurant For Violations
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has ordered the temporary closure of a food facility in Al Wakra Municipality after expired food items were detected on the premises.
According to an administrative closure decision issued by Al Wakra Municipality, the facility was ordered to close for seven days starting September 13, 2026, for violating provisions of Law No. 8 of 1990 regulating the control of food intended for human consumption.
In another violation, a restaurant in Al Rayyan Municipality was also ordered temporarily closure for preparing food under unsanitary conditions.
