Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the ongoing incursions by Israeli settlers into Al Aqsa Mosque, including the latest raid carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, adding that it is a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and a provocation to millions of Muslims worldwide.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Al Aqsa Mosque is an exclusive place of worship for Muslims, asserting that all unilateral measures aimed at altering the historic and legal status quo of Jerusalem and its holy sites are null and void under international law.

The ministry warned that persistent violations risk fueling further regional escalation and undermining efforts toward calm and stability. It reiterated its call for the international community to act urgently to compel Israel to stop its continuous violations against the Palestinian people and their sacred sites, and to abide by relevant international resolutions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people, centered on ending the occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to realize their legitimate rights, chief among which is establishing an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
